According to the profilemigrator, after choosing the to be migrated userproifle, i should use the runcollector.vbs on the clientpc and the starttargetsystem.vbs on the destination server.
But where can i find these scripts? Also, does this mean that i need to isntall profilemigrator on client and server??

Hi,
right above the order to run "Collector.vbs" and "StartTargetSystem.cmd" there is item 1 stating that the project storage you have published to is ready to use.
The project storage is the path you have entered before and your specified configuration was written to this path. Ideally you have chosen a network share or drive that is accessible from the source and target system, or in other words the old and new computer.
The next step is to log in to the old computer as an administrator, open the project storage path and run the "Collector.vbs" from there. This will collect all user profiles and data according to your configuration and it will store it in the project storage.
When this has finished you log in to the new computer, again using an administrator account, navigate to the project storage path as before and then run the "StartTargetSystem.cmd". This will launch Personalizer and you will be able to choose the old computer as your data source and optionally deselect users from the migraiton. After this you can click the migrate button and the migration will complete its last step.
To do so you do not need to install Profile Migrator on the old or the new computer. This is one of Profile Migrator's features that makes its use in corporate scenarios a breeze.

Many thanks for the fast reply. So, in my case a profile on a workstation(a local profile) that needs to be migrated to the same machine but in a new domain and with a new name only needs the software to be installed on that perticular workstation?

Will a new OS be installed on the machine or are justing moving the computer to a new domain without changing anything else?
